SCHOOL-WIDE EXPERIENCES

THE CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION EXPERIENCE
Turn Constitution Day into a school-wide event students will remember
Every September, schools are required to teach about the U.S. Constitution — but too often it’s a worksheet or a short video.
Now, with VOXPOP, transform that day into a live, interactive simulation where hundreds of students debate, compromise, and draft a new constitution together.
WHAT IS IT
-
A one-day civic simulation for Grades 7–12.
-
Designed for 100–500 students working in teams.
-
Works across multiple classrooms and auditoriums all playing simultaneously.
-
Includes teacher guides, media, software and printable materials.
-
Built on the award-winning VOXPOP platform used by tens of thousands of students nationwide.
HOW IT WORKS
-
VOXPOP software coordinates students across classrooms and auditoriums.
-
Students join historical factions.
-
In morning sessions, they draft amendments and argue key issues.
-
In the afternoon, delegates meet to negotiate and vote on a new constitution.
-
Teachers receive reflection and assessment materials aligned with civics standards.
WHY SCHOOLS WILL LOVE IT
-
Meets federal Constitution Day requirement
-
Builds civic engagement, collaboration, and SEL skills
-
Requires minimal prep — everything provided
-
Works for social-studies departments, grade-level teams, or whole-school events
